Q for all you photographer Moms??
We want to buy a good digital camera that takes good pictures and has a high speed shutter, because DS is so young and so acitve that if we wat a picture it has to be quick because before you know it the moment has past and the pic opportunity is gone.
Any way my coworker has this camera and she swears by it, but I want to know if anyone else had it and what your thougths are. Digital Rebel XTi
EOS Digital SLR Camera
Or do you recommend a different one??

I got this camera for Xmas. I don't exactly know how to use it but so far I love playing with it. I have had a Canon in the past and loved it so I wanted to stick to it. I heard wonderful things about this one and the Nikon. Go to buydig.com. They have the best prices and not trying to scam you like other online spots.

I have the Nikon D40x and the Canon Rebel.
I've been using the Nikon for a few months now and love it! It's very user-friendly and takes amazing pictures.
The Canon is newer, and I'm not really all that familiar with it. It also takes amazing pictures, so you really can't go wrong!

I have a digital rebel and I love it. I think you can't go wrong with either the Canon or the Nikon. We got a Canon because we already had a bunch of Canon lenses.

I also got the rebel SLR because I had some lenses. I AM NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL! I think because although my lense is compatible it is not the one that you would get with the SLR camera now if you bought it. I think the pictures come out eh. I also had a problem with the pins bending and was told it is a common problem with the canon.
I'd go with the Nikon.
