All over color is WAY easier to maintain for me than highlights.
I used to have color and then highlights on top. Ugh.

Highlights are a BEYOTCH to maintain.
But if you are going lighter all over that will also be high maintainance because you will show roots faster than if you go darker...

All over color BUT...a big BUT...if you're a mommy (which you are ) go fo highlights...it guarantees you a trip tp the salon every so often. I had an all over color and I freaked out when I finally decided to get a touch up and learned that my hair dresser had a baby and was out on maternity and I had NO IDEA she was preggo!!!!!!!! And we chat all the time! So, I kind of figured that I need to visit the salon a little more frequently, hence, I got highlights
