Q for Dr B neupogen ladies
Quick and possibly dumb question, which I think the Dr B ladies probably can answer sooner than if I contact a nurse:
I just received my first Rx of neupogen, and got 7, 1.6 ml vials of the stuff. My instructions are to use 0.26 ml daily, which means I should get 6 doses per vial. But, medco sent only 9 needles? I have lots of left over insulin syringes on hand, so it's not a problem. But I wanted to double-check with other patients that I'm figuring this right: what Dr B's office ordered is about a month supply (7 vials x 6 doses per = 42 doses). Does that make sense?
Also, any encouraging words, warnings, etc on neupogen would be welcome! Thanks!

Re: Q for Dr B neupogen ladies
I have the smaller vials, the 1 ml vials or 300 mcg. My dosage is 20 units daily. However when my Rx is filled it's filled as a month's supply for one time use vials. I've never figure out the math or anything bc I've always had enough. As for the syringes..thats so weird that they only gave you 9. What a random number, that seems like a mistake.
Oh and the neupogen is easy
Good luck

Thanks very much, KMCGK, much appreciated! I thought the needle issue was weird; I'll be sure to ask next time I contact the office.

Re: Q for Dr B neupogen ladies
I have no experience with neupogen but once they didnt order enough needles for another drug (i forget which one) so I called the office and they called a script for more needles into my local pharmacy. Just make sure the extras you have at home are the right sized needles.
