Q for Women Attorneys and other Professionals
How do you wear your hair on a daily basis (excluding if you are going to court or meeting with clients)? Do you wear your hair down? Or do you wear it back all of the time?

In a bun, Hair blow out straight and pulled back (half up/half down) - but always out of my face - so that I'm not touching it.

Usually in a bun because it's long and I'm lazy , especially during the summer when it's humid. But when the weather isn't too bad, I usually just wear it down and either straight or very curly.
For court or depositions though, it's always down and straight. And I wear my black-rimmed glasses. So I can look smart

I used to have black rimmed glasses. You just made me really miss them!!!
As for my hair, it is probably the least professional looking thing about me. It is very long. Most days at the ofifce I wear it down, but I dress down when I am not in court. For court, I sometimes tie it back. I have a weird reason tying my hair back--some of these court houses are like wind tunnels and just walking in, my hair blows all over the place. If I don't tie it back for court, I usually make it very straight.

I never wear my hair down b/c I'd rather sleep a little more than take the time to blow dry and straighten my hair. I occasionally wear it half up/half down, but I usually wear it in a low bun or pony tail.

I don't actually go to court, but for the office I wear it all different ways. Straight, curly, half up, all up. However the mood strikes me. For important meetings, normalls straight, because its the easiest, most dependable way that it will look decent.

I usually wear it down or pulled back in a low ponytail.
We have a gym at our office and most mornings I work out there and then take a shower and quickly dry it. I have pretty fine, straight hair, so it's easy.
I wish my hair looked more "put together" on a daily basis, but it's not unprofessional.
