QOTD - Thu 3/3
Ignoring all the problems that would prevent you from owning one, if you could have ANY animal as a pet, what would it be?
Go for broke... you have the money, you have assurance that it won't kill you or your family  , you can give it everything it needs... What is it? And what would you NAME it?

For me, there's a few... Horses, I've always loved riding them and my imaginary perfect horses would not smell or poop. DH would not be allergic to them. As a kid, I was always struck by how large and scary they were to me, but by what good companions they could be to people. My imaginary horse was black and shiny and named Midnight.
Meerkats. They would keep my garden free of scorpions and other bad insects. They would have dirty names like Dusty, Musty, and Cloud.
A Red-Tailed Hawk. It would be free to fly and hunt, but when I whistled, it would come back to me and land on my arm. It's name would be Ariel after the Little Mermaid.

I love horses, too! I've been riding since I was 4 and went to camp to learn to groom them and tack them and the whole nine yards. I'd definitely have a horse, though I don't know what I'd name them. I used to make up names for my imaginary horses all the time when I was a kid. I named one "Don Juan" because he was so pretty.
Otherwise, probably a baby tiger or lion. They are so cute!
And lastly, definitely a sugarglider! I want one of those NOW for real.

Honestly, I am really boring. I would love to get a second dog right now, there is a great litter coming up that should have some great show prospects. The problem is my husband is really against it so it isn't going to happen. :o(
I wouldn't mind having a penguin though! I would name him Waddles!

Horses, definately... many more dogs and cats...I'd want to rescue as many as I could!
I'd love to raise a baby lion or tiger.. and even a baby chimp...

My dream is to retire and buy a large ranch and rescue all kinds of animals. Horses, goats, cows, sheep anything on 4 legs...kind of like this Gentle Barn Farm Sanctuary

As long as I have this assurance, I would want a tiger. I would love to snuggle up with it on the couch and watch tv.
And just imagine the sight of playing in the yard with that thing. I would love it!

I would love to own a monkey, a dolphin and a penguin! Random I know but those are my 3 FAVORITE animals and I can't choose between them lol

My dream would be to have an Anatolian Shepherd...and a house full of German Shepherd Dogs. (I know, I have two already, but I can't have enough, I'm so in love with the breed, I can't get enough of them).
I can't pick a name even, I've never named any of my fuzzy kids without knowing them first, I think they name themselves.
