Quality Review NYCDOE Schools

Has anyone had a quality review yet? My school has one coming up and just wanted to get a feel of how it was.

We had ours recently. In general, the feeling around the building was that they focused more on social studies and science, rather than special ed like everyone initially predicted.

I heard it was just one person who walked around and honestly I didn't even see him even though he was there for 2 days.

Thanks, yeah in my school they are going crazy over the special ed too because they think they are going to get hit hard. Definitely makes me feel so much better!

I teach special ed and they didn't even come to me!

My DH had his at his school in the Bronx recently, it's a middle school and he teaches science and no one even came to his room at all... they focused on ELA, social studies and math but not science. HTH!

Had ours. They were focused on test scores from last year and spent time looking at students who had dropped and why they had dropped in their test scores...among other things.
