Re: Quartz countertop seams - where is your’s
I have granite but the seam Is in the middle of the sink
One side of my counter is a decent size- The piece extends from one wall, wraps around and ends in the middle of the sink.

Same. Granite and they put the seam in the middle of the sink. The installers recommend that

I actually don’t have any seams. The large corner L piece was really big - took 4 guys to bring in and they were struggling!
I’ve seen them at the sink a lot, stove and in the corner where the L meets If I had to have it, I would prefer where the L meets for less visibility.

Re: Quartz countertop seams - where is your’s
When I asked my installer about it, they said that the sink opening is too fragile to have the seam anywhere else but at the sink opening. I guess if your installers cut the sink opening (or at least finish a partial cut) on-site, you could avoid a seam at the sink.

We recently had new granite installed and I questioned the location of the seam and my contractor and the granite installer both said the seam should not be near the sink/faucet. We have ours near where the L meets.

My L is just over 10 FT and it’s one piece
Maybe anything over 11?

Re: Quartz countertop seams - where is your’s
I’m sure it depends on the shape you need to cut it to, and the original size of the piece of granite
