Queens hairdresser recs?

I know this has been posted before, but I have done about 5 searches already and can't find the threads.....

Can someone recommend a hairdresser for me? I am looking for a place closer to home - Bayside, Fresh Meadows, Flushing area if possible. Thanks!

Re: Queens hairdresser recs?

Christie's can get VERY VERY expensive & sometimes even snotty!....
my hairdresser actually left christie's and opened her own salon right near the Auburndale LIRR station.

I despise Christies. They were just awful/rude to my mother and ripped my sister off.

I have been happy with Studio Z on Bell Blvd just north of 35th Avenue. Cee Cee did my last color - FABULOUS and Stephanie gave me a great haircut. The number is 718-224-4444.

I know weve had this conversation before - Christie's is awful. Yes they do a good job but their bad attitudes are not worth it! They are expensive too. I live in the area and go all the way to Frankin Square for my hair. Sorry I cant help!
