Queens hospitals - opinions needed, please
Do you have any opinions on Flushing Hospital Medical Center or NY Hospital Medical Center of Queens?
My DH and I plan to TTC next year. My son was born at North Shore, but after I changed jobs, it's out of my way.

I lived in Queens for 28 year and I've always heard negative stories regarding Flushing Hospital...
I've heard good things about NY Hosp of Queens...previously known as Booth Memorial..I have 2 cousins that delivered there and had no complaints.

I've heard great things about NY Hosp of Queens, and would actually LOVE to find a dr. associated with it.

My SIL had 3 c-sections at Flushing and then after her last her Dr. stopped delivering there and only goes to North Shore now. She actually developed a staph infection after her last child. Just going to visit her bothered me.
Now my grandmother was at NY Hopsital a few times obvisouly not baby related but she had to stay and she had a good experience and the hopsital seemed cleaner also.

NY Hospital which was formerly booth is amazing! I know a few ppl that delivered there and they only had positive things to say. My grandfather was also there when he was sick and they were good with him.

Can you recommend an Ob/gyn in Flushing/Bayside/Rego Park/Forest Hills area affiliated with NY Hospital?

I haven't been around. but my doctor is Marina Shtern...she is absolutely awesome!!! She is located near Austin Street. My mom and sister also go to her and love her!!! She has a way of relaxing you and is really personable.

If you have to then use NY Hospital Queens, but personally I'd go to North Shore.
