Queens People - Cool website for old neighborhood photos
FIL sent this to me, it has old photos of Queens neighborhoods.
I thought it was pretty neat

Wow!!! That is so cool! There was a woman on my block when I was growing up who always told me of how everything was farmland while she was growing up. I could always picture what it looked like when she spoke and seeing these pictures reminded me of her and the wonderful stories she used to tell.

Thats really cool. I found some old pics of Levittown and posted them on the home board.
Its funny though... My DH grandparents , Parents and then his sister lived in a house on 204th street in bayside. I looked at the pics and that is the only block missing

Hpw awesome! I forwarded the site to FIL and DH because their business has been in Queens since 1945, first in Forest Hills and Jamaica and now Bayside and Flushing! I haven't looked fully, but I wonder if the dealership shows up in any old pics!?
