I live in Kew Gardens. No joke, we usually drive all the way out to Carle Place and drop them near the mall. No idea where there is one in our area, but looking forward to (hopefully) finding out!

There's one in the Howard Beach Waldbaum's parking lot. Also, u can always call St. Mary's and they do a pick-up.

does anyone know if its true that those boxes are a scam- someone at work told me that they sell the clothes and keep a lot of the money and don't donate as much as you think?

thre are a few...
2 that i can think of off the top of my head that are legit...
#1 .. Waldbaums parking lot on Francis Lewis blvd and Crocheron Ave...
3509 Francis Lewis Blvd, Flushing, NY
#2 .. South East Corner of the LIE and 164th Street....
Exit 24 Eastbound....exit 25 westbound..

Try www.scheduleapickup.com. They will come to your house and take most items, not just clothes. It's an organization that helps Vietnam vets. I have used them many times and they are reliable, and leave a receipt.
