Ques. for the cute freckle faced parents or your little ones....
I don't have freckles but my DH's does including his whole family. If my children get them when do the freckles usually start appearing?

my bro had them around 3/4 but they def faded away as an adult...maybe it was the lemon juice

Any time from now until then.....
I've seen people have them from birth, and others don't get them until their teens. Sometimes they only appear after a lot of sun exposure.

DH and I both have freckles (keep in mind we both had a lot of sunburns growing up as well). For me, they started appearing when I was 4ish (on my face that is). My DH was about the same (his body is covered now).
We are going to do everything possible to prevent DS from getting burned (I know it will happen, he's so painfully fair just like our families). Once he's 6 mos, that little man is getting sunscreen daily.

DD is 31 months and freckles are starting to appear on parts of her body now. None on her face yet though.

I have tons of freckles and so does DH...i really hope that DD is spared...as a person with freckles that come out even more in summer I HATE them.
I think i got most of them when i was 3-5 but i dont really remember.

I have alot of freckles and I still find new ones at 41 years old! Do they ever stop?
My DS has a few, he is just turning two now. He has one on the back on his head he was born with so I guess the start early. Since I still get new ones, I guess they never stop!!

I am full of freckles, DS has 1, right on his knee.
I was told that freckles are determined by the amount of sun that you are exposed to when you are very young. I think my mom's dermatologist told her that, I think.

Maddie's (aged 5) & Joe's (aged 7) freckles have just recently started popping up.
Joseph was teasing her the other day about it until I pointed out his. I told them they have one of my best features & we are d@mn cute.

i have them DH doesn't.. only 1 of my boys has them ... and only a very few.. they started coming around age 4

My DD is 2 and she already has at least 2 freckles. One of them she got when she was around 1. It is on her foot.

My SIL has a ton of freckles everywhere as does her son, her daughter is just starting to show some now at almost 3. She said her son started more towards 4.
