Quest. about my nephew...
He is 7 1/2 months and he weighs 26lbs. He is already in 12-18 month clothes...is this common? The Dr. doesn't seem too concerned at this point and his food has not been restricted at all.
Do you think he will slim down once he starts walking??

Once he is active, running etc he will more than likely slim down.
When I was 19 I worked in a day care center for infants/toddlers. We had a 6 month old who was 31lbs. He was just a big ball of chubby cuteness. I saw him when he was 3 years old and it was like a different kid. He was thin and tall.

They definitely slim down once they're walking. As long as he's growing in proportion & the ped doesn't seem concerned, I wouldn't worry about it.
