question

First I want to wish everyone Chat Icon

My heart goes out to all thoughs that are going through rough times right now. I've been reading some of the post and just haven't replied on them but Chat Icon Chat Icon your not alone!
Just remember to breathe

My question?
How many of you do not have medical insurance right now and are still ttc?
Do you have a plan if you do?

My girlfriend said there are plenty of ways to get help with the pregnancy and baby (I forgot where she went)
Any suggestions if and when my time comes and I still dont have insurance?
DH & I wanted to wait until we have everything in order but time just keeps going by and if we dont at least start to try the day will never come.
Suggestions? (especially anywhere between huntington or syosset areas)

Re: question

I have insurance, but I did a quick google search for you and I came up with this:

Re: question

wow...why thank you! thats great!
at least I know I can have some kind of help if I do get prego & the baby would be covered.
(My girlfriend used the family health plan.)
I used to be on healthy ny which was great (oxford through them) but once we got married we made to much money between the two of us to qualify (same with some of these plans)

Its amazing...
either you dont make enough $$ to afford your own insurance (some of the rates are unbelievable anywhere between $700 which isnt that bad from what Ive seen to over $1200 a month for medical insurance!!!)

or you make too much and you still cant get insurance (if family of 2 makes over $1750 a month you make too much to qualify for health insurance) the country is unbelievable with insurance!

but thank you that Prenate care program seems really good and I will definately hope to be looking into it!
Thank you again
