question
If you take Provera and get your period the following week..is that a real period and will you be able to concieve 14 days after that?

Yes it will be a real AF. Your uterine lining will shed, the way it does during AF.... The provera is a form of progesterone. The body will be tricked into thinking you ovulated this cycle, and are secreting progesterone. When the progesterone levels plummet..then the lining sheds.
As far as conceiving 14 days later, that all depends if you will ovulate the next cycle and on which day. Most people do not ovulate on day 14...it can happen at any time.
If you use opks you will hopefully tract the ovulation.
But basically the provera is used so you can start a new cycle...It's important to find out why you didn't ovulate though. Getting hormones tested may be helpful.
