Question..
Would you ever consider going on A BABY STORY? I post this here because DH who is a "closed book" so to speak mentioned to me that when we get pregnant we should apply for the show. He thinks that sharing our story of infertility and everything we have gone through could possibly give some insight and hope to other couples that might be in a similar situation. What do you think? Would you do it? I just looked at him when he said it. Not sure if I ever would do it though.

Re: Question..
No, I don't think I would. I can't imagine sharing the birth of my child with an audience. I would not be comfortable with that part of the the show.

I agree. I don't mind talking about it to whomever asks me but I don't want the "play by play" on national television. Too private a moment. I want that to remain for just me, DH and baby/babies.

Re: Question..
I would love to advocate Infertility on a tv program. But, I think I am too shy. The same reason why I wouldnt want to do a Wedding Story.
But, if someone approached me, who knows.....maybe, I would.

Re: Question..
I think it gives hope to A LOT of women to have real women sharing their stories. But those cameras and lighting people in the deliver room......something to strongly consider. I think Oprah might be a better venue. You can also contact the Parenting Magazines and women's magazines like Redbook and offer to have a reporter "follow" your story. I think that really helps women as well.

I totally agree! I truly believe that infertility is lacking publicity and this would be a good way of educating other women.
As it is, I get upset when I see great information about IF at 2:00 AM in the MORNING!!! Who is up this late other than me!

Re: Question..
When I got PG(had a MC) Fit pregnancy was looking for someone who was not at their ideal weight before pregnancy. I filled out something online and sent a pic and the picked me. I was excited. They were going to send a photography team to my house and do teh interview over the phone. Then I had to e-mail the reporter that I had a miscarriage and that was hard. I was looking forward to a baby and the story too
