Question: 9/11 Journal Entry for 8th Graders...
Hey...
My students will be participating in lessons in their SS classes all day tomorrow, and I'd like to touch upon 9/11 in a positive way (if that's possible) in my Support class tomorrow. We start each class period with a journal entry in their marble notebooks, and I'd like to gear tomorrow's entry toward 9/11.
Do you guys have any ideas for a good topic to write about having to do with 9/11 in some positive way? I have a few ideas, but I'd like to hear what you have to say since I value your opinions  . This activity is meant to be a "Do Now" and should last no longer than 5 minutes at most. The students are in 8th grade, btw.

Maybe they can write about the strengths of our country or even our NYC that the wtc brought out -- that even in a time like this it showed how people help eachother...
