question about 8-12 month old and NAPS

DD is 8 1/2 months and she def. still needs 2 naps a day. i used to go by the 2 hr rule but know i noticed that shes not tired after 2 hrs of wake time its more like 3 hrs.....so my question is what time does ur DC wake in the morning? When is there 1st nap and then their 2nd nap THANKS

Sabrina is 8.5 months old and her naps seem to be later, too. She usually wakes up around 8AM and she used to take a nap around 10:30 or 11AM and now I am noticing it is almost noon before she gets tired. And then she takes another nap around 4:30-5PM. Her bedtime also got later

DD is 12 months old. She still takes 2 naps...thank goodness.

Wakes up at 6:30

First nap 9:30/10:00

Second nap 3:00/4:00

Bed time 7:00/7:30.

During his 6-9 month stage, my son was the worst napper on earth. He fought and fought, even though he was clearly exhausted. If we got one nap out of him, it was after 4 or 5 hours of being awake. Since he has been in day care the past 2 months (he is 11 months now), they have him on a schedule and he takes a 1-2 hours nap every day around 12:30pm. He wakes up around 6:30am so he is up around 6 hours. Then that is the only nap he takes before he goes to sleep around 7.

DD is 11 months and has pretty much been on this schedule for MONTHS.

wakes 6:30/7:00

1st nap 10 - 10:30 (lasts 45 minutes - 1 1/4 hours)

2nd nap 2 - 2:30pm (lasts 1 - 1 1/2 hours)

bedtime 7:30/8:00pm

daycare days she take 1 nap - usually 1 hour
