Question about a baptism gift.....
My niece asked my DH to be her godfather. She is 11 and her mom and her are finishing the classes to convert to be catholics. (my Dh and his siblings were raised Catholic) So anyhow, he said he would be the godfather. What should we get her for a gift??? Savings bonds are out of the question, I want to get her something really special. TIA!!! She is super special to us....she always has been.

I was thinking that too. You give it to her at the house before church and this way she can wear it during the ceremony and it will be blessed.

In my family, the godfather usually gets the cross and the godmother usually gets the christening outfit. Maybe check with the godmother and if she has no plans on getting the cross I think it is a beautiful gift.
Otherwise how about earrings (diamond or her birthstone?)
