Question about a postal money order.....
I went to the Post Office today to get a money order for something. WELL I got the money order in the wrong amount and have already filled in the area for whom it was supposed to go to... Will the post office take it back and issue me a new one in the right amount evern though I have already filled it out.. Can they cancel that one and issue me a new one? I can't believe I did this

Re: Question about a postal money order.....
I believe that you can. Your name should be on the 'payer' side, and you should still have the top portion (your receipt). I believe that they will refund you, MINUS the money order costs/fees. I believe the MO costs .90¢, so you forfeit that, and will have to pay ANOTHER .90¢ to get a different MO (since it was your mistake).
