Question about Avocados
I never really ate avocado - unless I was making Guacamole - and that happened once in a blue moon.
Now that I'm trying to feed it to Jack a few times a week I was wondering what do you do with the parts that are leftover. I gave Jack half of the avocado today at lunch - do I just throw out the other half since it will go bad? How long before it goes bad?

I wrap it up tight in saran wrap or just eat the rest myself...

i will probably keep for a day or two. I'd save it for the next day.
Or, cut it up and eat it yourself. They are pretty good in salads.

It will keep for about a day but you need to wrap it tight either with the pit still in it or put some lemon juice on it. Otherwise it will brown.

Yes that should be fine. My mom learned the pit trick & it works like a charm.

I've heard the same about keeping the pit in it that it helps keep it longer. But when I give it to DD, I give her half and eat the other half  I love avocado!!!

I eat it myself. I absolutely LOVE avocados.
You can also make burgers and using it as a topping, or in a salad. Yummy!
