Question about bathroom pricing
Hey All,
Got a quick question for you. How much do you think (roughly) it would cost for a full new bathroom including: -fresh sheetrock -new tub with tile walls, new spouts and faucet -new toliet -new vanity, sink & fixtures -new tile floors
the space is 5 ft by 11 ft. Thanks

Re: Question about bathroom pricing
It really depends on what materials you use. We just redid our bath and made it a 3/4 bath and we redid eveything from the window to the sheetrock and it cost us about 4500 and it was 8x6. We did a stand up shower and tile all in the shower and half way up the walls all around. The tile was $1700, the window $350, the toilet $300, sink/faucet/vanity $700, and stand up shower was $1000. this did not include labor which was probably about $2000--we did have to have drain put in though so this might be a little less. Our next project is our upstairs bathroom. Hope this helps Good luck

Re: Question about bathroom pricing
I would estimate about $10,000 for everything.

Re: Question about bathroom pricing
is your DH doing the work or you are looking for a price with labor?

Re: Question about bathroom pricing
We used Oz General Contracting to gut and redo our full bath. They have packages to give you an idea of cost: Link to Oz bathroom packages
We're using them again this year to redo our half bath (it's also our laundry room) and the siding, as well as replace the windows in the bedrooms, both entry doors and the garage door.

probably not because we only have 1 bathroom in our condo so if we did redo it, we would need it done in a couple of days (we could stay with our parents). With my DH working, he can only do projects on the weekends.

Re: Question about bathroom pricing
If you pick middle of the road materials you can expect to pay between 8-10k. Since everything is a direct replacement I don't think it should be more than that. Sometimes home depot has tile on clearance(in small amounts which is what you need) for way less than tile stores. I got all of my brushed nickel faucets on overstock for a fraction of retail. Your best bet is to buy everything yourself & find a small contractor to install it.
