Re: Question about beginning the process?
The most fertile time to conceive is when you O. Which occur on or around day 14 for women with a 28 day cycle. I usually count backwards from the day I am due for AF to day 14 which gives me a general idea or you can use...

According to my gyno It's also best to bd from CD10 - CD20 (every other day).

Re: Question about beginning the process?
Depending on your Dr, but some say to take 3 months to regulate your body after BCP & then start but others say you can start right away. This will help you to also learn your cycle & when you O.
Like Happy1 said, you can O anywhere from CD10 onward. The OPK are great if you want to pinpoint your exact day of O but for me, they caused more stress then anything.
Remember to have fun & don't get too stressed. An average couple takes a year to conceive!

Re: Question about beginning the process?
There is no medical reason to wait once you go off BCP. Dr's advise that so they can date the pregnancy. Also I would BD every day instead of every other unless you know your DH has trouble with sperm issues. I would suggest using OPK's--it really is the easiest way for most people
