Question About Changing Your Name on Your Driver's License
Did they take your old license away? I have to go see about a job on Wednesday and I need my photo ID.
PS. I finally changed my name officially today after being married for 8 months

i think they give you a temporary one

no... you hold onto it and they mail you the new one.

Yep!
You do get a temp one in your new name as well but, they let you keep the old one.
