QUESTION about chat forums.. (like yahoo groups)
Are there any other free chat forums like yahoo groups that might be different or have more features/different layout, etc.?
Has anyone tried MSN groups? or google?
Im asking this because Im creating one for a group.

I run a yahoo group for people in my profession. It has some drawbacks but it is totally free. The members can decide to get the posts by e-mail or by going to a web page.

msn groups are very good i moderate about 5 of them. they have alot of features. i would recommend them they are easy to set up and use.

Have you checked out vBulletin ?
messageboards like TheFashionSpot.com and ThePurseForum use them.
