question about chinese symbol tattoos
i have one on my lower back on the right hand side. it is very small, about the size of a quarter. i am thinking of getting one or two more that are special to me. my question is this: where can i place them?
i am not sure if it would make sense to place them side by side. they have no meaning together, but i want to keep them in the same area. any suggestions?

can you do it on the other side of your lower back? i have 2 on my lower back, a sunflower and a infinity symbol, they are not connected, so i like that they are on opposites sides

thats an idea. but i think since mine will be both the same idea, that opposite sides may look like book ends!  plus, i may get 2 more..

I have one (Japanese, actually) in the center of my lower back. I always said that if I got another, it would have to be a pair that would be smaller and go on either side.

ok the one i have means "cherish" and i want family and angel.
smaller on either sad is a pretty good ide..its just that mine is so small already...im going to check that out tho!

see if your first wasn't that small....
i would say i would put one in the middle of your lower back and the last on the opposite side of you back as the one you have...
i think i would make the new two just as small and either line then up

But if you want them bigger than i would find a place else where on your body...
like the ankle or wirst...IMO have different size symbols on your back woudl look odd

yeah, i definitely want to keep them on my lower back so they are always covered for work.
i may go and have them do a temp on either side and look at it for a while.
red, i thought about what you mentioned too...lined up either across or down.
decisions, decisions...

this means heaven...which is a part of the angel tattoo, which is two symbols together. i may stick with just heaven which in my mind will represent my guardian angel ( :
the second one is family! i found it finally..
ETA: i may just stay with heaven and keep it the same size as my other and right next to it. we shall see! Image Attachment(s):
