question about claiming baby on taxes
How does this work? Do you get more money back or is it not really abig difference? My friend said if you make over a certain amount there is no deductaion for the baby is this true?

Re: question about claiming baby on taxes
It wasn't a big difference in our case because of the AMT tax.

Re: question about claiming baby on taxes
there's a deduction for the baby (I think ~$3700), but depending on other factors, it may or may not make a difference for you.

It also depends on if you have the baby in daycare - you will get credit if you do and both parents work full time.
