Question about gas or colic

So my baby has bad gas since about three weeks. Eating has never been a problem and if anything it kind of soothes him. He also never cries for no reason, only when he has gas pains or is hungry. Both today and yesterday he went through about 45-60 minutes of crying, seemed hungry but evertime I gave him the breast he wouldn't latch n(he would attempt to but just start crying). Once he settles down, he latches and eats no problem. What could this be??? Could it be colic, a tummy ache??? I hope this is not the start of something But I did experiance this episode two days in a row and it is not like him

When my DS was having the same types of trouble (crying unconsolably, crying while eating, arching his back when I tried to burp him, wet burps with immediate crying), I took him to the ped and he was diagnosed with acid reflux and a milk protein allergy

I would get his diaper tested for an allergy

I learned that Acid reflux is the new "colic" so he may have that. there is medication to help, ask your ped
