Question about Glucose Results...
Diabetes runs in both my family and DH's family, so my Dr wanted me to go for an early 1 hour test. My results came back, and the nurse left a message saying that my test came back about 2 points below normal.
My question is... Is low not good.. I have my Dr appt on Monday, but I was wondering if anyone experienced below normal results before??? Thanks!!!

Anything below a certain number is considered passing. My Dr. uses 140 as the cutoff.

I think since it was only 2 points below than they may just want to do another glucose test later on and see what results will be then. You may just want to start watching what you eat.

Does it mean my blood sugar is too low?? "when you say watch what you eat", what do you mean?? I eat pretty healthy already.. More little meals or ???? If it was above normal, what would I have to do??
I'm sorry I just don't know???

I would call the Dr and get a better explanation. The information they gave you is not really helpful IMO. If you took the test early, do they want you to re-test? I mean, I do not get what you were supposed to do with the info they gave you...JMO.
