Very true. But I do think $30pp will be tough in FH. I know Portofino's was about $48 pp in 2003 for my rehearsal dinner (but it was a Friday night). Maybe you have find a place that will do a buffet-style party?
What restaurant were you considering?

Either a Saturday or a Sun evening....includes an entree, salad, wine and an appetizer....

I took my husband and friends to london lennie's on his birthday, there was 10 of us and the bill was around $400.00...

My family always does London Lennie's too! It gets crowded but the food is good.

That sounds low, depending on time of day and what you're getting.
Joe Abbraciamento is just a little higher than that and I can say it's AWESOME!!! I had a party there and I hope my wedding is that nice.
