question about infant carrier and fitting DD into it

DD will be 6 weeks old this weekend

We had to adjust the straps to make them larger once already...now they seem REALLY tight again

DH tried to make them looser again, but now I think they're a bit too loose...he said there's no in between setting, its either REALLY tight or too loose IMO

so we left it at really tight

is there a way to adjust this? or which way should it be?

its a graco snugride 32

Re: question about infant carrier and fitting DD into it

There is a strap that comes out of the seat near the buckle(between the legs) It is a long strap. You can put your finger inside the hole where the strap comes out and find a lever that you can lift and you pull the shoulder straps while it is lifted and loosen them. You can just pull the long strap while they are in the seat to tighten it.

Check the weight limit of the newborn insert as well. I think it is 11 lbs. It might be too bulky for the baby to be in that.

I know once we took it out of the seat for DS, he was much more comfy.
