Re: question about infertility testing
My appt. was scheduled for 2 weeks after the phone call, because of insurance issues. If I didn't have those issues, then I would have seen the doctor in about a week's time. At the 1st appt, they took blood from both me and DH. They also scheduled a few tests to be done on other days.

Re: question about infertility testing
When we first started TTC and realized something wasn't right, my OB ran some standard bloodtests (what she called, pre-conception tests) that determined I had PCOS. Once we decided to move to a RE, they did not have an appointment available for 6 weeks. I had all my testing done that they require the same day as our first appointment.

Re: question about infertility testing
I made an appointment for a consult with my current RE for the following week.
ETA: I had bloodwork and a sonogram done at that first appointment.

Re: question about infertility testing
I had my first appointment within a week of calling. She did a an exam that day, did an ultrasound and took blood. Three days later she had me in for a post-coital. A week after that they had me in again for progesterone testing. I had an MRI yesterday for a cyst that appeared in the ultrasound, and on Monday I have an HSG. She's pretty aggressive, which I like.
