Question about interview?UPDATED
So I had an interview today with the Director of Special Ed.. She only asked me 4 questions and it lasted about 10 minutes... Is this a totally bad sign???
UPDATE::: Yay.. I got a call back to come in tommorrow and interview with the Principal and AP... So I got four Special Education questions out of the way.. What kind of questons will I be asked tommorrow.. Do you think thnis will be the final step???

it depends on how you answered the questions. How did you feel with your responses? How did she respond to your responses? Was there a positive feeling? Did you feel that you nailed the interview? It is possible that she was looking for something in specific and was able to determine this in the 4 questions.....you never know!! Good Luck!!!

was it a screening interview? sometimes they narrow down the field quickly by just doing 10 minute interviews.

My first interview was like that- not even. It was a preliminary interview through boces career fair. They didn't even give me a thanks but no thanks  but- it worked out bc I ended up getting another job!

I dont know if it was a screening interview... I thought I answered the questions good, everytime I answered her question I used words that she wrote down (scaffolding questions, FBA, BIP). I asked her the next step in the interview process and she told me that the Principal and AP will be in on Tuesday doing interview she said unfortunately the secretaries are gone for the day so they will make phone calls on Monday to the people who will go forward..

what grade is this position for? THey are definitely going to talk about the 3-8 testing (ELA, Math, Science in 4 & 8 and SS in 5 & 8) be prepared to talk about that. Scores are a big thing now!!! Discipline? Experience? WHat you can bring to the school as a new teacher?
