Question about leaving your DC with your parents/in-laws?
When you leave your DC with your parents/in-laws to watch, do they have a car seat or do you leave them your car seat just in case there is an emergency and they need to take DC to the doctor/hospital?

They have an extra base in their car, and the infant seat is always with DS.
Anyone who watches DS has a base for their car.

My parents and ILs watched Katherine for 1.5 years while I worked and just recently got carseats (the convertible ones)--more for their convenience than for safety reasons.

I only leave my carseat to my MIL if I'm going out and have to drop Julia off to her at her office.
My parents have a carseat at there home, but my IL's don't, I guess its a good idea for them to get one!
