Question about My Disney Experience
We have a Disney trip booked in Oct/Nov. For the past few months it's just shown the option to customize Magic Bands. Now it's showing another screen where it's showing that the Magic Bands are ordered AND cards are ready and activated.
What's with the cards? I thought it was Magic Band only.

Cards are the actual tickets. You won't need them since you are using a magic band.

hmmm... thats strange. If your not going until Oct the Magic Bands shouldn't be ordered already. I am going in 3 1/2 weeks and my magic bands JUST got closed to customize

They just say "on order" or something like that. I have til end of Sept to customize.

Thanks. I didn't know they bothered with the cards at all anymore.

Thanks. I didn't know they bothered with the cards at all anymore.
They do since many people book room only and purchase tickets separately. Also, not everyone wants a magic band, and scanning your park ticket card is actually faster and easier than trying to twist your wrist to match the mickey ears up perfectly (pain...and that is why all the FP return lines get backed up)

The cards are actually old tickets/room card. Once you go into the bands it says on order....but they do not mail them until about 30-45 days before. It will have a countdown.
Just ignore the cards/bands. Just go to customize.
Ours were on there from the trip the year before. I just deactivated them. But you can ignore.
