Question about new releases through amazon.com
When you pre-order a book from amazon.com and it is released, does it arrive the day it is released or is it shipped the day it is released. I am just wondering because I remember with the Harry Potter series, the book would arrive the day it was released. I pre-ordered Breaking Dawn, the next book in the Twilight series. I am not so sure I can wait to receive it if it is not going to arrive on the release date . . . .

oh good question!!! i already pre ordered my breaking dawn copy. it better be here on august 2nd and not a day late. . Bri were obsessed!

It all depends- sometimes if you pre-order more than item it'll be sent when the last item is out in stores.
But I have received some things on the day they actually came out!

It should arrive on the day it is released. I ordered most of the Harry Potters on amazon and always received them on the release date. I am not taking any chances with Breaking Dawn though and will be at the bookstore at midnight to get my copy.
