question about nursing bras and boobies!
if you BF, did you pick up nursing bras before or after your LO was born?
I know some people have mentioned wearing them in the hospital... and i doubt that right after  is born that i'll have time to just go bra shopping, but how do you know what size to get??? Is there any secret to finding the right nursing bra?
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question- i've never had milk in my boobs before- i'm not sure how to prepare for it

Same here!
OP-- do you have any nursing tanks? I found those most convenient at the hospital...that way you were wearing a tank top, could open the snap to nurse, and then if you had visitors/etc and wanted more coverage, you could throw a robe/sweatshirt on over the tank. I lived in them at home too (but def still needed nursing bras too, obviously!)

yes, for example, if you are a 36c now, get a 36d

I don't yet, but was thinking of picking them up (i should probably get on top of that soon!)

You're welcome...when I bought them 2 years ago, I loved the Target ones (I think they were Liz Lange)...the store had a limited selection, so I was able to try one on, realized it was too small, then ordered bigger ones on their website. Obviously I haven't researched them in 2 years, so not sure if they still sell them, but they were awesome. I had 3-4 of them.

I just checked target.com and they have a bunch of nursing tanks. I'll take a trip to the store to try them on. Thanks for the recommendation

I am a big bra person, meaning I need GOOD bras. How my boobs look is very important to me-- also, considering I was a 34D pre-pregnancy, I am working with a lot here.
What I did was buy these Brava bras-- they are like sports bras kinda and are very comfortable. Since they weren't a cup size per se, they worked when I was engorged, and when I wasn't. I wore these like the first month or two. But then once my supply regulated and my boobs werent AS ginormous, I invested in good quality bras, that happened to shape me well-- AND were nursing bras.
I tried the Target bras, and they made me look like I had alien tits.
