Question about open houses
If you see a house for the first time at an open house are you expected to go through the seller's agent if you want to make an offer? We have an agent we're going to be working with and I'd like to use her to help us out with comps and negotiations and stuff, but was wondering if the selling agent would have a problem with that since we first saw the house at her open house.

Re: Question about open houses
when you go to the house you can give the listing agent your agent's card. even if you don't you are not obligated to make an offer through the listing agent.

Re: Question about open houses
I would go back on day early this week with your agent. Tell your agent that you saw this house at an open house and ask him/her if they can go with you to see it. Then I would put the offer in.
We went to see a bunch of open houses without our agent. She gave us some of her cards to give to the sellers' agents so they knew we were working with an agent.
Good luck!
