Question about Organic vs Non-Organic Milk - Come in Experts, Please!
DS (2) has always been on organic milk. Due to different symptoms he has, I'm pretty sure that he has a lactose sensitivity. There is organic lactose free milk, but very difficult to find, and insanely expensive. We have it now but literally from one shopping trip to the next, I don't know if I'm going to find it and have had to go to multiple stores.
I was reading about Lactaid on their website and I know they're not organice, but they do mention not using growth hormones in their cows. This is what it said:
LACTAID® Milk comes from cows that have not been treated with artificial growth hormone (rBST)*.
So, is this enough??? Are there are other bad things in there which make the difference between organic and non-organic in terms of the milk??
Thanks!!

You don't have to give cow's milk at all. DD hates cow's milk, but I've had great success with coconut milk. Not nearly as much protein, but it has more calcium.

For what it's worth- My ped said the main thing is the hormones. He said to buy hormone free milk- and not to worry so much about organic.

I know, but I am looking to stick with cow's milk for different reasons.

So, I just called Lactaid and they said no hormones at all and no antibiotics. Maybe I'll double check with my ped, hadn't thought of that!
