Question about pumped milk
I pumped my milk and then it was her feeding.
Can i leave that milk out or no.
She didn't drink and 1 ounce of it just wanted to see

my lactation consultant told me to go by the 666 rule
6 hours at room temp
6 days in the fridge
6 months in the freezer
ETA: So yes, you can either leave it out if your house isn't hot today or put it in the fridge.

my lactation nurse told me pumped milk can stay out on counter for 10 hours max.

I was told.....
1 hr after being pumped at room temp
48 hrs in fridge
3-4 months freezer
Why can't they just agree on something!!!!
