Question about shoe size-I'm confused
Antonio is a 6.5 -7 last time we measured. He has a pair of Nike's he hasn;t worn yet. Inside they say 7C (children's) . However they look bigger than his Stride Rite Shoes. Is a 7 for a baby different than a 7 c?
Thanks

I was just at the Nike outlet and was looking at their kid sneakers. I don't remember what the c meant. What if you went on their website?

Re: Question about shoe size-I'm confused
Nike puts a "c" for child which I believe is considered baby. "y" is for youth and is for an older child. I.e. DS (8), would wear a 3.5y. Emma (5mos) would probably wear a 1c.

Re: Question about shoe size-I'm confused
I still don't understand why they don't do shoe sizes based on inches or something. Sizes of shoes for all ages and genders are all over the place. I still remember in high school, I had a size 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 and 10 shoe (various sports, dress, sneakers, etc) and they all fit perfectly!
I would guess that the different sizes are based on brands.
