Question About The BCP and IVF
When you are doing IVF why is one of the protocols going on the BCP first?
Sorry I am new to all this.

To surpress the ovaries before you start to hopefully get multiple follies all growing at the same time/size once you start to stim.

I am not taking BCP, I have to test with OPK until I get a positive or get to CD20, which ever comes first I call the dr and start from there with a schedule of meds

They can also manipulate your cycle so you fall within their IVF cycle schedules.

Sometimes you don't use BCP (I have MTHFR and my doctor won't put me on it). I used Lupron to suppress.
