Question about the Jones Beach Fields...
Does anyone know what all the fields are best for?
I took my daughter to the beach today and we went to field 5. Field 6 was full. But I saw signs for other fields and was confused .... I didn't really know what each field was for.

Late this afternoon, DH and I went to a field on the west end. Field 2 or 3, maybe. No lifeguards and it was empty. Like 10 cars empty. A very long walk from the car to the water, but just perfect for us!
I think the west end fields are out of the way and they don't get the public bus traffic.
