Question about traveling w/ baby--This IS parenting related!
Okay, we're going to visit my dad for Easter and want to know which will be the best option.
DS will be almost 11 months when we go.
My dad lives in North Augusta, SC and the following are options of getting there.....
1- Fly NY to Augusta (no need to rent a car, my dad would pick us up) Dad lives 10-15 min from airport. No non-stop flights. We did this when DS was 5 mos old and had him in infant car seat- that would not be an option for this trip.
2-Fly NY to Columbia, SC (no need to rent a car, my dad would pick us up) Dad lives about 1 Hr from airport. Some non-stop flights and some with 1 stop.
3-Fly NY to Atlanta, rent a car and drive approx 2 hrs to Dad. Non-stop flights, but have to make the 2 hr drive!
TIA!
#3 would be cheapest airfare, but then have to tack on cost of car rental and #1 highest airfare, but no car cost. The prices end up almost the same.

I would go for option number 2 with the non-stop flight.

no stop flight it if you can...those 10 month olds can be SQUIRMY and want to go everywhere...i traveled with hannah at 10 months- it was an hour trip and even then she was wanting to get down and discover the plane and stuff!!

Go with 1 or 2 bring an umbrella stroller.(You don't have to put the stroller with your luggage. You bring it all the way to the plane. They take it before you get on) You can put your child in that if you have to stop somewhere.
