Re: question about ttc with pcos?
It all depends if you ovulate on your own. Do you? I have PCOS and do not ovulate on my own, so I absolutely needed help from meds. I would consult with a RE to better understand what PCOS means to you and your body and go from there. Once you have an exact understanding of what your body is doing, you will be successful!
Good Luck!!!

Agreed. I have PCOS, however I also have a slue of other issues. If it is PCOS alone that you are dealing with, it's not hard to "treat".
If you do not want to start with fertility treatments just yet, I believe two things you are can try are metformin to help regulate your cycle and acupuncture. I have heard of people having success conceiving naturally through the help of one or both of those!

Re: question about ttc with pcos?
I have PCOS and I was getting regular cycles with 1500 mg of metformin after a significant weight loss. Before the weight loss I was never regular, even with Metformin. That being said, despite having regular cycles I still am having trouble conceiving so I went to Dr. B. I think the wacky horomones PCOSers have mess with the egg quality even when ovulation is normal.
