Question for Cat owners...
Has there been a change in your cat since DC was born? For the first few months my cat loved DD. SHe always laid next to her & seemed to want to protect her. For about 6 months (I guess since she became loud & mobile) the cat meows ALL day! She looks & acts fine otherwise but she won't stop meowing. I think I'm going to take her in just to make sure she's ok. Has this happened to anyone else?

How old is kitty? It could be a sign of a thyroid issue, not uncommon in older cats. We had this issue a few years back (well before DD) and once she was put on kitty synthroid, all was well (and quiet) again.

Wow, would have never thought of that. She is about 10, I really should bring her in. Thanks!

Re: Question for Cat owners...
Oh yes, I would definitely bring her in. I would bet that it has something to do with her thyroid. Very treatable, our kitty is now 18 1/2 yrs old. Good luck!!
