Question for CVS coupon queens...
I am inspired by the deals I have heard about and wanted to run this scenario by you and see if I get it right.
I see Pampers are on sale this week for $7.99 and you get $5.00 extra bucks with a $20.00 purchase of pampers products. So I want to buy 3 packages, I have $3.00 worth of Pampers coupons and a $4.00 CVS coupon for a purchase over $20.00
My questions are...
Will I be able to use both the Pampers coupons and the extra bucks?
If I only find say one package of the size I need at one CVS and then 2 more at a different CVS, will I still get the $5.00 extra bucks when I purchase the last package? I feel like I need a course in CVS wheeling and dealing
TIA!

Re: Question for CVS coupon queens...
I went to CVS today and got 3 packs of diapers at 7.99 each. Then I gave the cashier the $4.00 off of $20.00 coupon and then 3 pampers coupons. The total came to $16 and change and then I got the $5.00 extra bucks coupon. It was a good deal, but I feel I have gotten them cheaper at other times.

Really? I was so proud of myself, thinking I was getting such a great deal I usually just get them at BRU when I am there for formula, but the boxes are so huge, that I didn't use some of the last box

Re: Question for CVS coupon queens...
Here's how the transaction should "go down"
Hand the cashier your card.
He/she scans 3 packs at $7.99 (23.97)
First, hand his/her the $4. off $20. purchase.
Next, any manufacturer's coupons... up to three one for each pack.
Next, any e.c. bucks you PREVIOUSLY earned. on another transaction.
You can't use the $5. on this transaction because it doesn't print out until the receipt prints out, after you paid.

I thought you might make an appearance This part I knew, but do you know about my second question - are the purchases cummulative for the new $5 extra bucks if I get them at different stores? I am afraid that by the time I get there, all the packs of size 4 will be gone

Re: Question for CVS coupon queens...
For example, I didn't have any more e.c bucks from the last few weeks so...
First trip, I bought 2 packages of the Bounty and 2 of the Charmin on sale, so I could get the $10. ec bucks from that and use it towards the diapers. I used the $4. off $20 coupon for this transaction
I took all of that out to my car... yeah, with the double stroller dumped it in the trunk and went back in and...
This is the diaper transaction...
$7.99 X 3= $23.97
minus $5. off a $15 purchase (coupon)= $18.97 (I found that coupon on-line but it expired on 6/1)
minus $5. in Pamper's coupons= $13.97
minus $10. e.c. bucks from previous purchase= $3.97 plus tax...
Grand total for 102 Pampers size 4.... $4.38 WOOOOO-HOOOOO!!!

It is cumulative. You will see it posted nea rthe bottom of your receipt. I only know that because it's happened to me by accident when I've purchased a few non-advertised deals.
However, if you want to use previous e.c. bucks and need a larger total you will have to buy them all at once.
Oh, ladies, don't forget you can get rainchecks... up to 4 per raincheck and can get a different raincheck for each size of diapers.
CVS rainchecks never expire so keep going in, get more and when you have manufacturer's coupons and e.c. bucks in the future buy them then for the best/lowest price.
Using my transaction they came out to 4 cents a diaper.

Re: Question for CVS coupon queens...
yep. you can use 1 previous extra bucks coupon and a manufacturers coupon for each pack of diapers. It is cumulative if you have to go to another store. Once your total hits $20, the $5 coupon will print at the bottom of your recipt!
