Question for disney experts

Do you know when they usually come out with deals for October and beyond. It's already the end of July and I'm surprised that all the deals on their website are only until Oct 1. Do deals usually come out at a certain time of year?

At the end of last year, Disney announced that in 2011 they would begin cutting back on the number of promotions offered. To date, my experience is that they have kept pretty much true to their word.

We are not seeing the number of discount programs we have seen in the past, and even those that have been brought back (late summer "free dining" for instance) have been reduced in scope.

Historically, you could count on a new promotion being announced around the time that a current promotions booking window was getting close to expiration. Disney has changed thier thinking on this a little in the past 8 months, but assuming they loosely stick to past behaviour, we would hope for an announcement sometime between now and the end of August (when the booking window closes for free dining).

Unfortunately, all we can do for now is wait and see what happens.

Our last trip was in november\december of 2009. We booked at the end of august and the deals were up at the time we booked. Have you called and asked them? Also, if you book now, but a deal comes up for your dates, you can call them and they'll adjust the price.
