question for girls with stretch marks
I got quite a few stretch marks on my belly and thighs from being preg. I absolutely hate them and feel disgusted with the way my body looks with them...I have lost all the baby weight plus 5lbs 3 mnths PP but i hate my body...im embarrassed by it and dread the summer...i dont want DH looking at me even though he says he dosent care about them.
i know some of you feel that they are like trophies but i dont think i will ever feel that way...does anyone else feel this way, if yes how did/do you deal? how long did it take to feel better about yourself?

I was going to post something like this too. I am right along with you. I hate them and dreading wearing a bathing suit because I dont want anyone to see them. I have been thinking about what I could do to help them but it seems like nothing will help or take them away. I only had DD 3 weeks ago so i'm assuming/hoping they will die down but I dont know!

mine are gross and i still have 20 pounds to go, there is really nothing we can do but embrace them so might as well...u know they suck!

I hate mine too.
I don't see me ever getting to the point of being okay with them let alone loving them.
I had really really really bad ones when I was preggo - they bled they were so bad.
I can't even look at my stomach or I get all upset and uncomfortable.

im not sure i will ever embrace them...they are the only thing i HATE when i look in the mirror...well and saggy boobs but i can deal with that!

I have soooooo many stretch marks. Mine were so bad they were bleeding! So they are deep! After I lost a bunch of weight they just looked worse. But I have to say, when I started going to the gym and really burning the fat, they are not so bad now (still there, but no as noticable).

mine are so bad, they wrinkle...like they are scars. They are so deep into the skin. It sux, and I'll never wear a bikini again but I'm starting to come to terms with it.

my stomach looks like someone took a hot iron to it and burned it.
I don't understand how some escape the pregnancy without any and I look mutilated.
A few months back, I just took control over it. I am going to have them for life...I can't act embarassed in front of DH, he is attracted to confidence.
The biggest thing I think you have to do is just accept them. I think its all part of a healing process. I was angry, then sad. Now, I am accepting that they are there and things could be a lot worse.

I know mine are gross but my boobs are ok...kinda small still, only a B even after the baby, they never changed...weird...my stretch marks are fading though but my tummy will never be the same again!!

mine are a D now  i dont like them that big...i had A's till i met DH then went up slowly from there...when i got preggers they went up to a D and there they have stayed...

I am in no way taking away what you are feeling. Believe me.
I just remember my DH's face this summer at the beach when he realized that other moms are in bikinis and have no evidence of carrying a baby...I don't know if it was pity or envy...at 28, my body is a mess. Saggy boobs to go with it.
I don't know what to say or do about it. I do know that I can't let it effect my sex life. that is my goal.

25 and a mess here...i dread the next preg. (which isnt happening anytime soon!) i dont want to get MORE!
i think that one day i will get over it...but i am jealous of the ones that escaped with none...my bf got like 2 im very jealous of her...but i guess she might be jealous of something in my life i just dont know it...

i think its rare where any girl has a baby and thinks their body is going to bounce back or be the same as before. You are always so pretty in your pictures and obviously your DH loves you just the same. I had stretch marks on my thighs and breasts from puberty. i was so surprised i didn't get any on my stomach (and i gained 40 lbs with DS) but i did get some more on my breast, hips, and i have some on the top of my booty! Dont know how they got there, but it looks like i wont be getting a lower back tattoo anytime soon

I have them and hate them, but I got over it pretty quickly. I just think about the ladies who would love to just be able to get pregnant and it puts things in perspective for me.
