Question for mommies to be with a pierced belly button
Im not PG yet but im worried about my belly button ring. Did any of you have it in for your whole pregnancy? If you took it out did the hole heal up or stretch? Ive seen those pregnancy belly button rings, did anyone use them? thanks in advance and happy and healthy nine month to you ladies!!!
ETA:: do any of you have the prenancy belly button ring in or the one you have always had in?

I don't, but my best friend is 8 months pg now and still has hers in. The dr. said it's absolutely fine for her to have it in and that she just has to take it out when she goes in labor, she can't have it in during delivery.

i am 29 weeks along and i still have my regular BB ring in. i think i have a pretty deep BB to being with, i still have an innie, although its much shallower than when i first got PG.
my sister bought me maternity BB rings so i can use them if i have to but so far so good!!

I took mine out prior to getting pregnant....The bottom hole is now noticeable as my belly has grown...so yes its stretched..I think if I kept it in, I probably would have taken it out as well.

I still have mine in. I found a place on eBay. I typed in pregnant belly button rings and found a place that sold these long plastic looking strips. I bought a couple of them. I'll use them later down the road.

My docotor made me take mine out at about 16 weeks
He said he had seen womens rip out because the skin stretches too much!
I just dip my belly ring in Neosporin each week and slide it through the hole to make sure its still open
Im in my 36th week and its fine. The skin is very thin though~

I got an acrylic PG belly ring upon suggestion from the pernatologist who ran my ultrascreen, amnio and level 2. I am 31+ weeks and all is well.

I got the special pregnancy bar and wound up taking it out anyway with my first pregnancy and repiercing it a few days after I gave birth. This time it's healed up and depending on how my stomach looks after I may repierce it again.
